IC INFORMATION
Characters Name: Elliot March
Age: 23~26
Canon Point: The end of chapter seven, right after Blood throws his hissy fit
Species: Humanoid/Animal/Clock Hybrid?
Gender: Male
Orientation: Straight. While he does have some ambiguous tendencies when it comes to his male bossu, he is canonically straight.
History:
Elliot wasn't always the right hand man to the glorious Blood Dupre, he did his own thing and made his way just like many other people did. He certainly did have friends, one that was very important to him in particular. Naturally they were close, so close that the guy made a rather taboo request of Elliot, asking him to do something that is considered a crime in their world. See, in this Wonderland people aren't born with hearts, they have clocks that eventually wind down. They are collected upon a person's death so that they can be reused and characters can be born multiple times. This fellow asked him to break his clock when he died, Elliot being the terribly loyal thing that he can be complied without question and landed himself in a big mess, which probably actually turned out to be more of a blessing in disguise.
After shattering his friend's clock, he was captured and held as a prisoner in the clock tower. He was there for a time until one (1) Blood Dupre miraculously came to his aid and helped him escape from prison. Of course Elliot felt that he was forever in the man's debt, deciding that the best way to repay his saviour was to work for him. Never mind the fact that Blood agreed to break the hare's clock upon his death, the same way that Elliot had for his own friend. Strange relationship, but he certainly admires and trusts the man so he became ridiculously faithful to him.
Until Alice showed up he spent his days doing paperwork and Blood's bidding, happily of course. At first he didn't really take to the girl, ready to shoot her just because she was on the property (that and the fact that he was sure she was a spy. Oh Elliot, I love you so). Of course Blood came along and reminded him that killing on the grounds was prohibited without his permission, Elliot rethinking and Alice running off because the Hatter reminded her of that former someone special. The hare found her to be rude (after all, she just ran off when all Blood was trying to do was be 'friendly') and really didn't think on her beyond that until he found that she was an outsider. This was interesting to him, seeing as he'd never really encountered one before. A few more things happened aside from the tea party, but that's really where Elliot has his
She can't help herself and she pulls on his ears, Elliot suddenly very convinced that she hates him. She explains that it's not anything like that, there's a little bit of an argument over whether he's a rabbit or not and then cake makes everything better! Afterward he takes her back to the clock tower, the two running into Peter along the way and the boys having a confrontation. It's here that Alice says she'd like Elliot whether he was a rabbit or not and he gets absolutely giddy, rushing off to tell Blood as much after getting her back safely. He's happy enough until the man gets upset and says some rather...unfriendly things about Alice and all but slams the door in Elliot's face. And this is where we have him, right after the shock of that upset. /o/
Appearance:
Very tall, somewhere around 6'5". He's quite a large looking fellow, height aside. He's got shoulder length ginger/orange hair that is very wavy and blue/violetish eyes. His style of dress is usually something that resembles bohemian style. HERE IS A REPRESENTATION OF HIS STYLE, HE'S THE ONE ON THE LEFT.
Personality:
At a first glance Elliot seems like a laid back sort of guy, perhaps even a little childish at times. Even so he's got those moments where he knows how to take things completely seriously. He's usually very straightforward with his feelings (he won't hesitate to share them with people either) and it seems that there's no real happy medium with them, he likes what he likes and he hates what he hates. Good luck changing his mind about them. For the most part he's a strong and sturdy sort of guy (how could he not seem as much when he's somewhere around 6'5") but catch him in the right way and he can be thrown completely off. Pull on his rabbit ears and he's likely to get very embarrassed and rather upset, perhaps even to the point of tears and/or violence (depending on the source, of course). He can be very sensitive at times. Don't let that kiddish (he can be rather naive at times and easily flustered, more so when he's being addressed by a cute girl) attitude fool you completely, because he certainly can be a force to be reckoned with.
Where he comes from he's the second in command of the Mafia, Blood Dupre's right hand man. He's unwaveringly loyal to the man, even in the face of abuse. A jab to the chest with a cane is better than the life of imprisonment he was destined to live out until the man came along. The hatter did save his life after all, he owes him absolutely everything. He won't hesitate to kill to protect what matters to him, sometimes even going as far as offering without being prompted to 'take care' of simple annoyances for people. Killing someone that isn't directly related to him really isn't of any consequence to him, he would just see it as doing a favour for a friend. He'll even say such things with a smile on his face, maybe even hold someone at gunpoint and look rather pleased all the while.
He's got a temper on him though, getting rather heated about things without even a moment's notice. Sometimes even over the most ridiculous things. Despite the fact that he was born with rabbit ears and he's considered a hare (of course in this setting he wasn't born with them, but he will purchase some because something feels like it's missing), one of the last things a person wants to do is refer to him as a rabbit. He hates rabbits and will more than likely insist that those ears coming out of the top of his head are dog ears. It's not that he's completely idiotic and ignorant, he's just really convinced that he's a dog with extra-long ears.
In short, things to remember: He loves Blood Dupre and carrot related dishes.
Abilites:
He doesn't really have any magic abilities, so really the only thing worth mentioning is that he's got an itchy trigger finger at times? Although, he is doing a lot better with that now that Blood's around. He doesn't shoot right away, he'll even give you half a minute before shooting these days! c:
But beyond that he's not really got a lot going on for him in terms of abilities, unless you count being loyal to the point of being potentially obnoxious as an ability.
Other:
He is the March Hare?
Another point of interest, I suppose, is that he didn't actually have a heart? There used to be a clock that served the same function, but now that he's here he'll have a real heartbeat and everything!
He's a very good shot and very loyal? The guy is able to bounce back from almost anything in a relatively short amount of time. However, that can really only get him so far. One of his biggest weaknesses is the fact that he can be so impulsive, while he does think on occasion, when he's upset he definitely doesn't have much of a capacity for anything other than being convinced that he's right (think about his arguments regarding being a rabbit, not well thought out but he's convinced that he's right). Stubborn, that's more the word to describe it.
SAMPLES
First Person:
AUDIO
[This is the first post of one Elliot March, for the most part the beginning is nothing but muttering and the sound of what may be a very annoyed hare wringing out his very long scarf. Something, something, something, complaining about that little machine (or phone as regular people would call it) and all the buttons which he's clearly been fussing with already. And a click of his tongue before he starts speaking.]
What in the hell kind of place is this? Thought it was a joke at first, but after seeing looking around I'm not so sure...
[There's another pause before he realises that the phone is...doing something. A loud tappity tap of his finger against it before he brings it all the way up to his mouth to speak again.]
Hello? Is there someone there? Blood? Alice?!
[Another pause and an annoyed click of the tongue.]
What's the point in talking to this stupid little thing anyway, probably doesn't even do anything. Unless...maybe if I yelled they could hear me...
[And here it is, the deep breath as he prepares for what comes next.]
BLOOD?! BLOOD, BLOOD, BLOOD, BLOOD?! ALICE?!
[Clearly he's given up on yelling, taking in a breath and muttering to himself again, this time sounding a little more dejected. Maybe Blood really was still angry enough not to answer? HOW WAS HE SUPPOSED TO KNOW?]
The damn thing probably doesn't even work. Couldn't be something useful, could it? Can't even eat the stupid thing...
[With that he lets out a heavy sigh, shoving the phone into his pocket and shutting off the recording.]
Third Person:
He was sure that he'd been in his room just a moment before, but this was decidedly not his room. This was...a place like he'd never seen before. And just what was this chair that he was sitting in? It wasn't nearly as comfortable as it looked. There was a slow blink as he took in his surroundings, a hand coming up to rub at the back of his head gingerly. Nothing but silence from the hare for the moment, frowning while he finally moved to push himself up to his feet. The progression of thought was slow but it was clear what his priorities were when he finally opened his mouth and began speaking to himself.
"...cake." Yes, he was sure of where he'd been before, enjoying that extra piece of cake that the help had set aside for him after tea. He must have fallen asleep before he could start on that wonderfully rich piece of carrot cake that he wouldn't have been able to completely enjoy with the mood that Blood had been in--
Blood. Where was Blood?! And finally that realization that he had absolutely no idea where he was. There certainly wasn't any place on the estate that looked like this and these were definitely not his keys. If it looked any different, he would have thought those idiot kids were behind it, as if it were some elaborate scheme to try and trip him up. But even this was a little much for them, wasn't it? The hare let out a bit of a sigh and a snort, shifting uncomfortably before he reached up to pull a hand back through his hair, something didn't quite feel right but he couldn't put his finger on it, arms coming back down to cross over his chest with a slight huff.
And finally he came to a conclusion: illusion, he was sure, or delusion. Dream, it must be just a bizarre dream. And if it was a dream Blood or Alice was bound to be here somewhere, right? It certainly wouldn't hurt to look, anyway. After all, it didn't look too dangerous around here, what was the harm?

Housing Request?: Two requests, if at all possible. There are two apps that should be coming in soon, one for Charlotte Baskerville and one for Haruhi Fujioka. It would be greatly appreciated if Charlotte could be his terrible waifu and Haruhi his darling line-faced child. It would be the best and worst house.
